Listening to folks’ life stories on a weekly basis gives me the honor to hear their highs and lows, to understand who this person really is and the mark they’re going to leave on the world around them.

It’s almost like taking in and appreciating a living obituary. Of course, I am not privy to every memory they have or every interaction they’ve encountered. But you can get a really good sense of a person by what matters to them to share in a single hour together about their work and what they want others to know about their goals.

It’s legacy.
