You know that amazing feeling when you dine out at your favorite restaurant as a regular? The staff knows your name, what you like (“The usual, right?”), and knows what events you’ll like in the future. As great as that all is in person, it’s tough to reconcile those few regular guest preferences with the many guests that come through a venue’s doors.
What if restaurants could understand every guest and their personal preferences across reservations, private dining, e-commerce, and events — all in one place? That’s the vision behind Panso, the 360 degree hospitality CRM platform founded by Britney Ziegler.
Britney is a major hospitality industry alum herself, from working with Chef David Burke as his executive assistant and operations team, to assisting Carla Hall with a new restaurant concept, to setting up activations with the one-and-only Molly Baz. She implicitly understands the issues of restaurant operators and how they want to connect with and retain their guests. Enter Panso: The only platform that allows restaurants a full view of their guests, their actions in person and on their site, and how to retarget them. Panso states they remove at least four tools from a restaurant’s tech stack, saving them time, headaches, and money.
Britney and I had a great time chatting about how she started building Panso in stealth for four years with her team, how the industry is reacting, and how she’s pushing through the challenges and misconceptions as a female founder in the restaurant tech space. As a marketing consultant who works with folks in food and bev, I can truly say Panso is a dream come true. Go, Britney, go!
